We’re so excited to announce that our outdoor experts have partnered with Oboz to offer you premium hiking footwear to rent for your next adventure! We chatted with the Oboz team to give you the full scoop on who Oboz is and what sets them apart from other hiking shoes:
We build footwear inspired by the vast 18 million-acre Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem surrounding our Bozeman, Montana home. This rugged wilderness inspires us to create shoes and boots that deliver unmatched fit, unrivaled feel and exceptional performance on any trail, anywhere. We also plant a tree for every pair sold.
Arete: Our Arete Collection is designed to go fast and travel light on the trail. Featuring a streamlined construction with no-sew breathable mesh uppers and our dynamic A3 chassis system, the Arete delivers active performance on the trail with uncompromising fit, support and protection.
Bridger: Our flagship mid-hiker provides excellent support, durability and trail performance. With a lightweight TPU forefoot plate for added protection, B-DRY waterproofing, supportive heel cup, rubber toe guard and aggressive Granite Peak outsole.
Sawtooth: Tread confidently with the Sawtooth II Low Waterproof with the added comfort of its ankle-friendly asymmetrical collar, B-DRY waterproof membrane, breathable mesh vents and a redesigned heel counter.
The fit. Our proprietary insole is what we’re known for. Molded to match the specific shape and construction of every pair we make, this purpose-designed technology delivers the kind of fit, feel and performance that’s unmatched in the industry. Learn more about the Oboz fit here.
P.S. With every Arrive Outdoors rental, you get a fresh insole!

“True to the Trail” is the compass heading that guides everything we do. From building great-fitting footwear to how we give back to our community and the way we treat each other and our planet. It’s a mindset that grounds us in what’s most important: doing things the right way, having fun, and exploring our path in life. Because any other way just wouldn’t be true to the trail. Our goal is constantly to be: True to our people. True to the experience. True to your foot. And, true to the community.
